How does the logo design process work?
There are three phases in logo design. First is the design phase where ideas are exchanged and the initial design concepts are created. This phase is generally around 10 business days. Second is the revision phase where you are free to request changes to your chosen design concept. This phase is generally around 5 business days. Third is the finalization phase where we produce all of the file formats you'll need to use your new logo on any medium. This phase is generally around 1-2 business days. The total timeline from concept to reality is about 16 business days.
What if I have my own idea for my logo?
Awesome! We want to hear your ideas. A successful logo design process is actually dependent upon your ideas combined with our industry experience.
Can you redo my existing logo?
How many revisions can I make to my logo?
The number of revisions you can make is dependent upon your chosen logo design package.
What if I don't like any of the initial design concepts?
If you aren't satisfied with the logo design concepts presented then you are free to upgrade to a package that has a higher number of revisions. The reason our packages are structured this way is because changes to a design take time to make and that time adds up. However, logo design service is not all about us and our billable time. It's really about you, your business and your continued success. Our packages are designed to help our customers get the most out of the loo design process at a price that maximizes value.
Am I entitled to a refund if the finalized design isn't what I want?
All sales are final. If we have completed and finalized a logo design for you and you want a refund, our designers have already spent their valuable time working on your project. If you are not satisfied with the process and its result, we will under some circumstances do a redesign and use a different team member to create the new logo concepts.
What is the difference between a "redesign" and a "revision"?
Revisions are changes made to logo concepts. A redesign is when we design a new set of logo concepts.
Who owns the rights to the finalized logo design?
The rights of the finalized logo belong to the customer while rights to the concepts not used as the finalized logo will continue to belong to Decentral Digital.
